Pretty simple question which is difficult to answer immediately. Let's see why it happens:)
- Wind appears for various reasons and depending on their size and strength. The main reason is the difference in temperature occurs and Coriolis force (the Earth's rotation).
- Cyclones are created at the north pole and anticyclones - at the south. Since the motion of the poles is in the opposite direction to the movement of the Earth. These air streams then diverge across the planet and make wind on different parts of the world with various speed which depending on the temperature difference.
- Anticyclones usually weaker than cyclones so the southern hemisphere is warmer.
- The little wind created in all the world from the mountains and the sea (the breeze).
- When you open the doors and windows in the house to ventilate the room, the air temperature outdoor meets with room air which creates the wind. it works on a global scale too in such way.
As a result, air flows are created in huge quantities at the poles, the mountains and the sea as a result of the Earth's rotation and then diverges over whole planet where meet the temperature difference and cause the wind:)
