Is it possible to create a hoverboard?

The day when Doc and Marty went forward very soon and many people may be wondering is it possible to create hoverboard nowadays? And if not, is it possible somehow and what scientific advances are needed for this. Let's see:)

1. Theoretically, hoverboard can be created. This is not something totally unscientific.
2. Anti-Gravity exists. The accelerated expansion of our universe is anti-gravity and it is confirmed by science.
3. But anti-gravity works only on cosmological scales and we do not have enough energy to recreate it on our planet. Especially, on such a small object like a skateboard.
4. There is also a non-zero probability that there will some great scientific discovery that make creating of anti-gravity possible. But it can not be predicted as well as it is must be totally new opening. It should be revolutionary.

As a result, we get that hoverboard can be created in theory but it can be possible only in the very very distant future. Also, there is a small chance for some big scientific discovery that will change the science and all world:)
